Applied Research Published on Smart Water Management and Agriculture at the Center of Biomedical Engineering Research – University of Anbar

As part of the scientific activities and academic outreach pursued by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar, and under the direct supervision of the Center’s Director, Dr. Ali Amer Al-Rawi, a significant applied research study has been successfully published, titled: "Next-Generation Water Management and Crop Modelling of Sustainable Energy in PLC Based on Agrivoltaics Systems with IoT." This research was conducted by Prof. Dr. Yousif AlMashhadani and Assistant Lecturer Sami Al-Fahdawi, in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Noor Hanaa from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). This achievement stands as a distinguished example of effective collaboration between local and international academic institutions. It reflects the Center’s commitment to integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and sustainable energy approaches into intelligent water management and crop modeling, using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) within agrivoltaic systems. On this occasion, Dr. Al-Rawi extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to Prof. Dr. AlMashhadani and Assistant Lecturer Al-Fahdawi for their outstanding efforts. He emphasized the significance of this advancement in elevating the scientific standing of both the Research Center and the University of Anbar. Furthermore, he encouraged other researchers at the Center to follow their example in striving for continued academic excellence and impactful contributions.
