Rehabilitation and Delivery of the Second Prosthetic Limb at the Biomedical Engineering Research Center – University of Anbar

As part of its ongoing efforts to support individuals with disabilities, the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at the University of Anbar has successfully rehabilitated and delivered the second prosthetic limb to Mr. Issa Ibrahim Khalil. This achievement was carried out under the direct supervision of the Center’s Director, Prof. Dr. Yousif Al-Mashhadany, during the first training course for the Center's staff, which is scheduled to continue for the next five months. Prof. Dr. Al-Mashhadany extended his sincere gratitude to the staff of the Fallujah Prosthetics Center, affiliated with the Anbar Health Directorate, in recognition of their continuous and fruitful collaboration with the Biomedical Engineering Research Center. He particularly acknowledged their active contribution to delivering the training course to the Center's team, which has significantly enhanced their technical skills and academic competence. He emphasized that this collaboration stands as a model of institutional partnership aimed at fostering medical innovation and serving the community. During the handover ceremony, Prof. Dr. Al-Mashhadany praised the exceptional efforts and high professionalism demonstrated by the Center's technical and medical team. He commended the quality of the work accomplished within a short period, reflecting the team’s outstanding competence and dedication. In turn, Mr. Issa expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Center’s administration and staff, praising their compassionate approach and substantial support in addressing his particular condition.
